After graduating with a MS by Research degree from the Department of Computer Science, IIT Madras, I landed in Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment banking, securities and asset and wealth management firm, based out of Wall Street, New York, U.S.A. I had everything any youngster would aspire for. But in order to serve a greater purpose I quit my job and started my entrepreneurial journey and went on to create a larger social impact.
As it was rightly said “The destiny of a
nation is shaped in its classrooms”. For the first time I had recently taken up an extensive training project in Loyola Public School as it was my Alma Mater. The objective of the project was to introduce the students to the 21st century skills and give them an opportunity to practice them.
I have reached more than One Lakh Students through Awareness Programs, Trainings and Workshops. After an extensive research in the field of Skill Development with a specific focus on enhancing Employability in the rural and semi-urban graduates, an unique idea was born and took shape in the form of LIFE ( Lifeskills Institute For Excellence).
